As the year 2022 comes to an end, we wanted to take a moment to wish all of our fellow knitters and crocheters a happy and peaceful time. This season is a great opportunity to relax, spend time with loved ones, and of course, enjoy some knitting and crocheting, or give that new technique a try you always wanted to master. But, before we head into the New Year, here’s a quick look back at all that has happened at KnitPro in 2022:
Mother’s Day Gift Set - J’adore Gift Set
To celebrate the occasion of Mother’s Day in March in United Kingdom and regions of Europe, we had a very special gift set J’adore. As the name signifies, love, the gift set is ideal for knitters. The set of cubic needles were crated from lavender colored wood. The ergonomic shape of needles were beneficial to work with as it is beautiful. To make this special set the perfect gift, the needles & accessories were designed to be packed in a plush velvet case that makes the set a delight for gifting purposes.
Worldwide Launch of Mindful Collection
After the impressive success of the collection in US and Canada, we went global in July! The Mindful Collection was specifically designed to help knitters receive the meditative benefits of knitting. The colour theme for the collection and accessories is soothing teal. Mindful words on each needle help strengthen the knitter’s focus and enjoy the benefits of the craft!
Our Mindful Collection knitting needles are made of superior quality stainless steel, a material chosen for its positive attributes and its low carbon imprint. The comprehensive sets cover the requirements of knitters of all types and skill levels. Whether it is a straight pair of single pointed needles, a set of double points, a fixed circular or interchangeable circular needles, we have something for every knitter. Holiday Gift Set - Day & Nite
For the special holiday season we had a unique Day & Nite Gift Set. This unique set of interchangeable circular needles has been designed to celebrate artistry of knitting as well as the splendid yarns. By seamlessly combining the contrasting black and natural tones, our manufacturing artisans have created the perfect needle for all knitters and the colourful yarns they love.
We have listened to our trusted knitting advisers who have told us about the importance of clearly seeing yarns on the needle when working with different colours and textures. To address their needs, we developed a way for the knitter to clearly see their stitches by providing them with the right background. If they are knitting with a dark beauty of a yarn, they only need to swivel the needle to bring up a natural colour background and view the work. Conversely, if they need to see a specific colourful stitch, a twist of the needle to the darker side will provide a proper setting. The needle surface works well with all types of fibers – even those with fiber halos, such as mohair. …And because every special gift deserves an equally special presentation, the set comes packaged in a storage box that features a 3-dimensional artwork with the day and night theme, as this is how much a knitter would be using the set. Besides, launching new gift sets, we had an event-filled calendar for the entire year with social media giveaways. The month of January featured our blocking tools. February was the month to Blossom Knitting pattern holder. March was dedicated to our special Mother’s Day Gift J’Adore Set. June and July were Mindful months featuring the Gratitude Set and the Believe Set. To celebrate the holiday season with a quick-knit gift we December KAL (Knit-along), suitable for all knitting levels where we had gifts for knitters very week. Seeing your projects pop up on social media using our needles and hooks made us proud.

While we had our hands full developing knitting needles, crochet hooks and accessories for you to enjoy the joy of knitting, our blog was constantly update with helpful posts. From basic techniques to helpful tips, we compiled the latest happenings of the craft world. We explored new techniques such as Fair Isle, colourwork and more. Our updates on helping you choose the right needles, hooks and knitting accessories was for beginners and seasoned pros looking to expand their collection.
